Southgate Becomes First Metro Detroit Location to Unveil a Fresh New Look During Summer Refresh Celebration on July 15
SOUTHGATE, Michigan — One of Metro Detroit’s longest-standing family-owned thrift retailers is entering an exciting new chapter.
For nearly 70 years, the same family has been committed to helping generations of shoppers stretch their budgets while discovering incredible treasures. This summer and fall, Value World is investing in the future with a refresh of its 10 Metro Detroit locations, beginning with its Southgate store.
The newly refreshed Southgate location at 12125 Dix Toledo Road will officially celebrate its transformation with a Ribbon Cutting Ceremony at 9:45 a.m. on Wednesday, July 15, just before the store opens at 10 a.m. Customers shopping that day will also receive Double VIP Rewards Points on every purchase, helping them earn cash-back rewards even faster.
The refresh includes updated exterior signage, fresh paint, improved merchandise displays, enhanced store presentation and other upgrades designed to create an even more enjoyable shopping experience while preserving the treasure-hunt excitement that has made Value World a Metro Detroit favorite for decades.
